How to make
The beans are left to soak for overnight or for 3-4 hours. Add water and boil the beans for 40-50 minutes until they're semi-cooked.
Strain and pour them into a suitable baking tray.
Heat olive oil in a deep frying pan, stew a chopped onion and garlic.
Then add the diced carrots, peppers into strips and after they are stewed, add the tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Season with salt, oregano, a little sugar, black pepper and add 1 cup of water.
Bring to a boil and pour over the beans.
Bake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180 °C) until the water evaporates.
Try the oven-baked beans to make sure they are cooked well and if necessary add a little more water.
Bake the Greek-style beans some more in the oven and you're done.
