How to make
Green beans are very good for the body. They contain vitamins A, B, C, E, as well as folic acid, potassium, magnesium, zinc and fiber.
Regular intake of this product can reduce the likelihood of heart attack and maintain the beauty and health of the skin.
Therefore, low-calorie green beans are often used in the dishes by people, who are on a diet.
Boil the green beans in salted water for about 6-7 minutes. Pour the boiled (al dente) green beans in a colander and rinse them with cold running water and dry them.
If you're using frozen, add them to other vegetables without defrosting them!
Peel and slice the onion.
Peel and chop the garlic cloves. Put them in a deep frying pan along with the olive oil, chopped onions and garlic.
Fry until the onion is translucent and slightly browned. Add the chopped and peeled tomatoes with the spices and stew them for two minutes.
Add green beans and a glass of white wine with 1 tsp. of honey and 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon. Cover them with a lid and stew them for about 8-10 minutes or until they remain in fat.
Serve them drizzled with lemon. The Greek-Style Green Beans are very tasty.
