Ingredients

  • bread - 6 slices, dry
  • cheese - 2.5 oz (70 g)
  • feta cheese - 2.5 oz (70 g)
  • yoghurt - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • mixed spices - to taste
  • butter - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)
  • eggs - 4

How to make

Cut the bread slices into small cubes. Separately, grate the cheese and feta. In a bowl, beat the eggs, add the yoghurt with baking soda (mixed beforehand) and stir.

Put half the bread cubes in an oiled 7″ (18 cm) diameter form with half the butter, pour on half the egg mixture evenly, sprinkle half the cheese, feta cheese and mixed spices.

Then put the other half of the ingredients, in the same order: the bread, egg mixture, cheese, feta cheese and mixed spices. Distribute the remaining butter into slices on top.

Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) on the lower element for the 1st 10 min. and then on upper and lower until you obtain the desired crisp.
