"No matter how many of these Slightly Spicy Roasted Chili Peppers I make, there`s never enough."

Ingredients

  • chili peppers - 4.5 lb (2 kg)
  • marinade for 1 jar of chilies
  • vinegar - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1 tbsp
  • salt - 1 tbsp
  • oil - 1 tbsp
  • black pepper - 5 - 6 peppercorns
  • parsley - 2 - 3 bunches
  • garlic - optional

How to make

Wash the peppers and cut off their stems.

Roast them on the stove top, flipping them over on both sides.

In a jar, put the vinegar, sugar, salt and oil. While still hot, arrange the peppers in the jar, pressing on them.

Put black pepper and parsley in between the peppers.

Close with a lid and flip the jar upside down.

Flip them over again after 1-2 days.

You don't need to boil the jars.
