Ingredients

  • green tomatoes - 4.5 lb (2 kg)
  • garlic - 3 heads
  • dill - 1 bunch
  • for the marinade
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • vinegar - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • salt - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • sugar - 1/2 cup (120 g)
  • black pepper - 2 tsp (10 g), grains

How to make

Wash the green tomatoes and cut them into slices. Put them in a bowl and sprinkle with salt and sugar. Leave them to sit for 2-3 hours.

Drain them from the juice. Arrange them in jars, alternating between them and bunches of dill and garlic cloves.

Pour the resulting juice from the tomatoes in a pot. Add the vinegar, oil and black pepper.

Boil for about 1 min. and remove from the stove. Leave it to cool. Distribute this marinade among the jars with tomatoes. Sterilize for 5 min.
