How to make
Tenderize the steaks lightly, season them with salt and black pepper.
In a deep wok, heat the oil and braise the steaks on both sides.
Place them in a large glass cook pot. Braise the coarsely chopped onions in the same oil, add the coarsely chopped potatoes and the rest of the spices.
Pour in the water, put a lid on and put it in the oven for 1 hour at 390°F (200 °C).
Serve the steaks on a bed of potatoes with a glass of red wine.
