Ingredients

  • tagliatelle - 7.8 oz (220 g)
  • cooking cream - 2 cups (400 ml)
  • onions - 1 onion
  • prosciutto - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • butter - 0.7 oz (20 g)
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • oregano - 1 tbsp. (dried)
  • salt - 1 pinch + for boiling the pasta
  • cherry tomatoes - for garnish
  • fresh basil leaves - for garnish

How to make

Cut the onion into thin strips and place it together with the butter, olive oil, sugar and a pinch of salt over medium heat.

Cook, while stirring, until the onions are caramelized nicely and aquire an appetizing color.

Add the prosciutto in small cubes (you can replace it with other dried ham meat).

Fry it briefly and pour the cream.

If you want more sauce, you can add more of it.

Reduce heat and leave the sauce to thicken.

During this time, boil the pasta according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Strain and serve the tagliatelle, drizzled with the fragrant sauce and garnished with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves.
