How to make
Mix the flour in a bowl. Add 3 tbsp. of olive oil, the salt, sugar and yeast. Add the lukewarm water and knead a soft dough.
Cover the dough with a towel and leave it to rise. Peel the onion and fry it in the remaining olive oil until it turns golden brown.
Divide the dough into 7-8 balls and roll them out into baguettes. Shape the baguettes and arrange them in a tray with a non-stick bottom.
Make parallel cuts on the surface of the baguettes.
Leave them to rise once again and then bake them in a preheated oven at 390°F (200 degrees).
5-6 minutes before they're fully baked, distribute the caramelized onions and then continue the baking process.
