How to make
Add one teaspoon of salt and sugar to medium-sized jars.
Add 3-4 grains of black pepper and 2-3 pieces of coarsely chopped onions. Thoroughly wash the gherkins and put them into the prepared jars.
Fill the jars with vinegar, up to the rim.
Add a sprig of dill and close the jars. Boil for 10 minutes to sterilize them.
