  • for 1 jar of 800 ml
  • gherkins - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • onion - 1/2 onion
  • dill - 1 stalk
  • salt - 1 tbsp.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • vinegar - 5 tbsp. wine 6%

How to make

Wash and clean the gherkins. Arrange them in a clean jar.

Peel and wash the onion and cut it into strips, then put it in the jar with the gherkins.

Finely chop the dill and add it into the jar. Put 1 tbsp. of salt, 1 tbsp. of sugar and 5 tbsp. of pure wine vinegar.

Pour water into the jar to cover the gherkins. Close it tightly with a lid and sterilize them.

As soon as the water boils, time it - it should boil for 10 minutes. Then remove the jar from the water and turn it the lid upside down.

The Sterilized Canned Gherkins are ready.
