How to make
Separate the grapes from the bunch, wash them and boil 2 min. in water that has just barely begun to boil. Drain them, cool and put them in a pot with a thick bottom.
Stir the water and sugar and boil them in a separate container while stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves completely.
Pour the hot syrup over the grapes and boil 20 min. on high heat. Remove from the stove, cool it completely and put it back on the stove. Boil 40 min. on low heat.
Separate the syrup, add the cinnamon and ginger and boil another 15 min. Squeeze the lemon juice into the syrup.
Remove the cinnamon and ginger. Put the grape seeds in dry, clean jars and pour the hot syrup over them. Close with caps and store in a cool and dry area.
