"Serve this simple Indian Kashmiri rice with crushed roasted nuts or dried fruits. Delicious and very aromatic!"

Ingredients

  • basmati rice - 9 oz (250 g)
  • cloves - 3
  • cardamom - 3 pods
  • cinnamon - 1 stick
  • saffron - 1 pinch
  • turmeric - 1 tsp. level
  • oil - 2 tbsp (30 ml)
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • salt - to taste

How to make

Cook the basmati rice according to the instructions on the package, adding a teaspoon of oil, a little salt, turmeric, cloves, cinnamon and towards the end of cooking, saffron to the water.

Finely fry the garlic in the remaining oil.

When the rice is ready, add it to the garlic in the pan, stir briefly and remove the cloves, cinnamon stick and cardamom. Season with more salt, if necessary.

Serve this simple Indian Kashmiri rice with crushed roasted nuts or dried fruits. Delicious and very aromatic!
