How to make
The rice is washed and left for half an hour in cold water.
Then the vegetables are fried in a pan and when they soften, the turmeric and cinnamon are added. Pour the strained rice.
Pour about 2 1/2 cups (600 ml) of warm water, add the bay leaf, vegetable broth and add as much salt as you like.
When the rice and water boil, the heat is reduced and it is left to simmer, until it's done.
The pan-fried rice can be served as a side dish or a main dish.
