  • lentils - 3/4 cup
  • rice - 1 cup
  • onions - 3 heads
  • oil - 6 tbsp
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 2 tbsp

How to make

Wash the lentils, pour cold water over them and boil until semi-ready - about 15 min.

Pour out the water and add the well washed rice to the lentils. Pour on boiling water and let it continue heating.

Once the water boils, add the salt and turmeric, boil on low heat until ready.

Cut the onions into quarters, then cut these very thinly. Braise them until golden in heated oil and sprinkle with nutmeg.
