"If you have mulberries in your yard, you can use the fruits for homemade jam"

Ingredients

  • mulberries - 4.4 lb (2 kg)
  • sugar - 3.3 lb (1.5 kg)
  • citric acid - 1 tsp
  • rum - 2 2/3 tbsp (40 ml)
  • vanilla essence - 1 tsp.

How to make

We clean and wash the fruit very well.

We put them with sugar and rum in a pot.

Stir the whole mixture and leave it for an hour or two, or more.

Add some water and place the pot on the stove.

When the mixture boils, we reduce the heat and leave it for about 15 minutes.

We add vanilla and towards the end - the citric acid.

We fill the finished jam in small jars, close and turn it upside down.

We leave it until the jam cools.
