How to make
Grate the lemon rinds. Pierce the fruits themselves in several spots with a thick needle. Put them to boil, change the water twice - boil for 4 min. in new, cold water each time.
Make a slightly thick sugar syrup from the water and sugar. Cut the cooled fruits into pieces and put them in the syrup along with the grated rinds.
Put the jam to boil until the lemons soften and the syrup thickens. Add the citric acid dissolved in hot water and boil another 2-3 min.
Transfer thus prepared jam in another clean container and leave it to sit for 5-6 hours. Distribute it into jars and close them.
