In the pot, heat the oil, add the chopped pieces of onion, carrots, garlic and cinnamon and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add the diced pumpkin and potatoes. Pour in the broth, just enough to cover them.
Boil the soup until ready. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Finally puree it in a blender until it becomes a smooth mixture. You can serve it with croutons.
