  • baklava sheets - 1 package ~ 1.1 lb (500 g)

measures

How to make

Beat the eggs, sugar, oil, flour with a mixer and add the baking powder and cinnamon.

Arrange half of the sheets in a deeper mold. Then the beaten mixture is poured on top. Cover with the remaining sheets from the package.

It is cut into pieces like baklava and poured with the melted butter. Bake in a moderately heated oven until golden brown.

The syrup is only boiled until it boils.

When pouring the baklava with the syrup, one product should be warm and the other cold.

You get best results when the Greek baklava is left overnight before being covered with the syrup.

The Greek baklava is ready.
