How to make

Start with the syrup - mix the water with the sugar and bring the mixture to a boil. Once it boils, boil it for 5 minutes and add the vanilla, stir and remove the pot from the heat and allow it to cool completely.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar into a fluffy cream, add the yoghurt and oil and mix everything. Finally, add the coconut shavings, ground walnuts and raisins and stir.

Grease a tray suitable for the size of the sheets with oil and start arranging the sheets from the package, while making sure to grease them with a small part of the oil. Once you arrange half of the sheets, mix the filling and spread it evenly on them.

Arrange the remaining sheets on it and grease them with oil.

Place the tray in a preheated oven at 360°F (180 degrees) and bake them for about 30 minutes, until they aquire a golden color.

Remove the baked baklava from the oven, cut it into pieces and pour the cold syrup over it evenly.

Allow the Greek baklava to absorb the syrup completely for a few hours and serve it.
