Ingredients

  • flour - 1 1/2 cups
  • oil - 1/3 cup
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • coffee - 1 cup espresso
  • cocoa - 1/4 cup
  • baking soda - 1 tsp.
  • apple cider vinegar - 1 tsp.
  • vanilla - 1 tsp.
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • For the cream
  • soy milk - 4 cups (1 L), with vanilla
  • pudding - 2 packages of chocolate (4.2 oz ~ 120 g)
  • sugar - 8 tbsp.
  • chocolate - 1.8 oz (50 g) for cooking

  • walnuts - 3.5 oz (100 g) grinded

How to make

The sugar is mixed with the warm coffee and stirred until it melts. Add the oil. Then add the soda dissolved in the vinegar, flour, cocoa, vanilla and a pinch of salt.

The mixture is poured into the oven tray. Bake at 360°F (180°C). The sponge cake bakes quickly because it is thin. Observe it and check it with a stick. Cut the finished sponge cake into three equal parts.

The first sponge cake layer is smeared with cream, the second sponge cake layer is placed, again spread with cream and the last sponge cake layer is also smeared with cream. The cake is also plastered with cream on the sides. Sprinkle with grinded walnuts and the chocolate cake is ready.

Preparation of the cream: The soy drink is placed on the stove to boil along with the sugar.

1 cup is separated from the milk, in which the pudding is dissolved. After boiling the soy milk, the pudding is poured into it and it is stirred until it thickens.
