  • carrots - 1 large
  • leeks - 1 sprig
  • potatoes - 2 medium
  • peas - 2 cups (500 g) boiled or frozen
  • bay leaf
  • thyme
  • black pepper

How to make

Cut the vegetables into circles, peel and cut the potatoes into pieces. Heat the olive oil in a pot and put the vegetables to saute a little, then add the peas.

Add 8 1/3 cups (2 liters) of water and cook over low heat until the potatoes soften. The original recipe for St. Germain soup does not include potatoes.
