How to make
For the German cake, I beat the eggs with a fork and gradually add the sugar, the cocoa, the yogurt with baking powder, the butter that I have melted, one peach, coarsely chopped and the flour.
A thick, dense dough is obtained, which I pour into a baking pan measuring approximately 8x14″ (20x35 cm), which has been generously greased with soft butter.
Arrange slices of the second peach on top and sprinkle with a little brown sugar.
Bake the fruit cake at 340°F (170°C) with a fan until fully baked!
The finished peach cake is cooled and sprinkled with a little powdered sugar if desired. Can be served with additional fresh fruit and dairy ice cream.
Delicious! A perfect combination of peaches, caramel flavor from the brown sugar, the crust is very nice and the cocoa in the mix adds a chocolate flavor.
The original recipe is with apples, but I changed it a little with this aromatic fruit - peach! I think the German Peach Cake turned out well.
