How to make
The lentils are washed well, covered with cold water and boiled.
Two medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes, as well as finely chopped pepper and onion are added to it.
The spices are also added - savory herb, spearmint, salt and paprika.
When the lentils are cooked and mushy, pour the dish into a baking pan, add the chopped garlic cloves, the oil and the butter.
Pour the tomato sauce over them and put the baking pan in the oven.
Bake the oven-baked lentils for about 30 minutes or until the sauce evaporates a little.
Optional - the oven-baked lentils are served sprinkled with homemade cow's cheese.
