Ingredients

  • plum - 8 - 10 pcs. big and hard
  • vanilla essence - 1 tsp.
  • flour - 1 cup
  • sugar - 2/3 cup
  • eggs - 4 pcs. small ones
  • baking powder - 1 tbsp (10 g)
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • oil - for greasing a baking pan
  • flour - for flouring
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

Combine the flour, vanilla and baking powder and mix. In a bowl beat the eggs and sugar using a mixer. Add the oil in a thin stream and continue to beat. Add spoons of the flour with the baking powder and vanilla and mix with the mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

A slightly thick mixture is obtained, but this is not a problem. Grease a baking pan with a removable bottom with oil and sprinkle it with flour. If you don't have one, it can be in an ordinary one. The mixture is for a baking pan with a diameter of 9.5″ (24 cm), so that it can become thicker.

Pour the mixture and smooth it out with a spoon. Cut the plums in half, remove the pits and cut them into strips, but not too thin, because they will easily fall into the mixture. Arrange the sliced plums side by side on top of the mixture.

Bake in an oven slightly preheated to 320°F (160°C). After baking and cooling, remove the bottom and the ring. Put the cake in a round plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar using a strainer, and cut like a cake into triangular pieces. Enjoy!
