  • eggs - 1
  • plums - 1.3 lb (600 g)
  • corn starch - 1 tbsp.
  • powdered sugar - 1.4 oz (40 g)
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp.

How to make

The diameter of the mold is 8.5″ (22 cm)

To make Plum Pie, follow these steps.

Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt.

Add the butter, softened at room temperature, and grind into crumbs. Now is the time to add the grinded walnuts (if you choose to add them) I often add them when making plum pie. Add the egg and knead into a soft pie dough.

Line the mold with parchment paper. Spread the dough, forming a small border on the sides.

Put the dough in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Cut the plums in half and remove the pits.

Mix the powdered sugar with the cinnamon.

Remove the mold with the dough from the refrigerator. Sprinkle the dough with starch.

Arrange the plums. Mix the powdered sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the plums with powdered cinnamon sugar. If you like, you can grate some of the dough over the pie or plums - whatever you like.

Bake the fruit pie for 40 minutes at 360°F (180°C).
