"All who prefer pumpkin strudel to the classic apple version, please `like` this recipe."

Ingredients

  • puff pastry - 1 pack
  • pumpkins - 9 oz (250 g)
  • apples - 1
  • walnuts - 1/2 cup ground
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • allspice - 2 pinches ground
  • ginger - 1/2 tsp

How to make

Grate the pumpkin and apples. Sprinkle them in a large pot with the cinnamon, sugar, allspice, ginger, mix and leave it for 10 minutes.

Spread out the puff pastry and distribute the filling in the middle. Fold in the edges and press carefully.

On top, make light cross - sections with a knife. Brush the pumpkin strudel with the egg yolk and put it to bake at 390°F (200 °C) until it gets an appetizing tan.
