How to make
The pumpkin is peeled, cleaned and grated. Mix it with 7 oz (200 g) of sugar and leave it for 30 minutes.
Then the juice is strained and the chopped apples are mixed with the walnuts and cinnamon.
Pass the cottage cheese through a strainer. The cream is beaten with the egg, 3.5 oz (100 g) of sugar and the vanilla sugar, then mixed with the pre-soaked raisins, the cottage cheese and the lemon peel.
The filo pastry sheets are spread out on a linen cloth. They are spread with the butter and one of the three types of filling is placed on each strip.
The cloth is lifted slightly at one end and the three rolls are rolled up simultaneously.
Place them in a greased baking pan and bake in a moderately heated oven for about 15 minutes. The hot strudel is sprinkled with powdered sugar.
The strudel with pumpkin, apples and cottage cheese is ready.
