How to make
Dissolve the dry yeast in lukewarm water along with a teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of flour. Stir the mixture and set it aside until the yeast activates.
In a bowl, pour 2 cups of flour and add a pinch of salt. Form a well and pour the yeast. Add the olive oil and start kneading.
Transfer the dough onto the counter and shape it into a ball. Place it in a bowl and cover it with cling film. Leave the dough to rise for 30-40 minutes at 100°F (40°C) in the oven or for an hour in a warm place.
Form the risen dough into an elliptical shape (1 cm thick) and place it on a tray covered with a sheet of baking paper.
Beat the egg and spread the flatbread. Sprinkle generously with sesame seeds and leave it to rise again for another 20-30 minutes.
Bake the Turkish Bread with Sesame Seeds for 15-20 minutes at 430°F (220°C).
