Ingredients

  • sesame seeds - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • mushrooms - 14 oz (400 g), champignons
  • teriyaki sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • sherry - 2 tablespoons, sweet
  • sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • green onions - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • sesame oil - 1 tsp
  • onions - 10 stalks, cut into short pieces
  • parsley

How to make

Bake the sesame seeds in a dry pan for 10 min in a pre-heated 360°F (180 °C) oven and take them out to cool. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove their stems.

Arrange the tops in a shallow container. Mix the teriyaki sauce, sherry, sugar, coarsely chopped stalks of onions and sesame oil. Pour half of it onto the mushrooms.

Grill for 5 minutes, turn, smear with the remaining marinade and bake for 5 more minutes or until browned.

Serve topped with roasted sesame seeds and finely chopped green onions. Sprinkle it with parsley too.
