Ingredients

  • chili peppers - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • water - 2 1/2 cups (600 ml)
  • oil - 2 tbsp.
  • salt - 2 tbsp.
  • sugar - 6 oz (170 g)
  • vinegar - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • dill - a few sprigs

How to make

Put the water in a deep pot. Then add the salt, sugar, vinegar and oil in sequence. Put the pot with the water and the other ingredients to boil.

Wash 2.2 lb (1 kg) of chili peppers. Pre-wash the jars and lids.

At the bottom of the jars, put dill sprigs. Fill the jars with the peppers. When the marinade boils, pour it over the peppers.

Close the jars well. Then turn them with the lids facing down. After they cool down, put them in a cool place.

Grandma's pickled chili peppers are ready.
