Ingredients

  • apples - 6 pcs.
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp.
  • brown sugar - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • butter - 2 tbsp. soft
  • dried apricots - 2.5 oz (70 g)
  • walnuts - 3 tbsp.
  • lemon peel - 1 tsp. grated

How to make

Turn on the oven and set it to 370°F (190°C).

Finely chop the dried apricots.

Cut the walnuts into small pieces or grind them in a machine.

Mix the chopped dried apricots with the walnuts, sugar, cinnamon and lemon peel.

Mix all this well and add 1 1/2 spoons of the butter and mix again.

Wash the apples well, carve them out and remove the seeds.

Fill the holes of the apples with the prepared mixture.

Spread the rest of the butter on top and place them in a tray onto baking paper.

Bake the apples for about 30-35 minutes.

Serve them with the resulting sugar syrup, which is obtained during baking.

The stuffed baked apples with walnuts and dried apricots are ready.
