  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • flour - 1 cup
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.

  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

The eggs are beaten along with the sugar into a fluffy cream. Pour the oil in a thin stream, while continuously beating.

The baking powder is added to the flour and sifted together, then added to the egg mixture in portions.

Finally, add a pinch of vanilla. A fluffy cake batter is obtained, which is transferred into a greased and floured pan.

The strawberries are washed, cleaned, cut into halves and arranged on top of the batter.

The strawberry cake is placed in an oven heated to 360°F (180°C) and baked for about half an hour.

Its readiness is checked with a wooden skewer or a toothpick When inserted into the dessert, the skewer should come out dry.

The baked light strawberry cake is left to cool, then sprinkled with powdered sugar and it is ready to be served.
