How to make
I always prepare my nectars in a ratio of 300 g of cleaned fruit and 500 ml of water, because for me this is the ideal consistency for this drink. In addition, whatever fruit I use, I always add a peeled and cleaned lemon. In addition to enhancing the taste and adding a pleasant sour flavor, it also prevents other fruits from oxidizing and darkening and the nectar retains its fresh and beautiful color.
It can be made from any fruit you have available, but in this recipe I offer you a combination that I personally love a lot, even though I'm not the biggest fan of cinnamon.
You can add it according to your taste, but always be careful not to overdo it, so that it does not overshadow the fruity aroma of the drink.
The amount of sugar is also a guide, as you can guess that depends a lot on the sweetness of the actual fruit you are using. For example, my apples were not as sweet as I wanted and I added instead of 1.8 oz (50 g) of sugar - 2.3 oz (65 g). Of course, other sweeteners like agave syrup, for example, can be used.
To prepare real nectar with a delicate and fine texture and smoothness, you need a good device for blending products - a blender, a robot or a Nutri Bullet type of device.
The peeled and cleaned fruits are blended together with sugar into a fine puree. In this case, in this recipe we add a pinch of cinnamon.
The puree is diluted with water and blended well again.
It is distributed into cups and consumed immediately, in order to absorb all the vitamins from the fruit as much as possible.
