Ingredients

  • minced meat - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • rice - 3 tbsp. boiled
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 1 - 2 cloves
  • onion - 1 onion
  • spring onions - 2 stalks
  • peppers - 1 pc.
  • tomato puree - 3 tbsp.
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • corn - 1 small tin (about 150 g)
  • spices - optional

How to make

Place the minced meat in a suitable bowl. Add the boiled rice, the egg and salt to taste. A little oil is poured into a suitable baking pan.

It is heated in the oven and the finely chopped onions, garlic, spring onions and peppers are fried. Dissolve the flour in the water (about 500 ml) and add the puree. Pour it over the vegetables in the baking pan.

Let the sauce boil and add the spices. The minced meat is formed into meatballs and placed in the sauce.

Cover with foil and leave the dish in the oven for ten minutes. After that the foil is removed, the corn is added and after a few minutes it is removed from the oven.

The meatballs with tomato sauce and corn are very tasty!
