"Aromatic and very tasty savory cake with sausages and potatoes"

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • milk - 2/3 cup (150 ml)
  • butter - 2.1 oz (60 g)
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • for the stuffing
  • sausage - 1 pc.
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • olives - 5 - 6 pcs.
  • mushrooms - 7 - 8 pcs. from a tin

How to make

Boil the potatoes in salted water. Peel and mash them. Add the butter, milk, egg and as much of the spices as you want.

Stir well. Cut the products into cubes. Pour 1/2 of the mashed potatoes into a greased cake tin.

Arrange the sausages and sprinkle with the remaining ingredients. Cover with the other part of the puree. Bake at 390°F (200°C) for about 35 minutes.

Take it out, leave it to cool and remove it from the cake tin.

If desired, sprinkle the savory cake with grated yellow cheese and return it briefly into the oven, to bake on top only.

The potato cake with sausages and yellow cheese is ready.
