How to make
The eggs are beaten together with the sugar and carob flour.
Immediately after that, the baking powder is added, it makes the mixture airy and easy to work with, add the oil, white flour and semolina for the cake and mix with a spoon.
The dough is heavy and thick. Now comes the time for the hot water. Pour the dough with it and mix well.
I pour it into a generously greased 8x14″ (20x35 cm) cake tin and arrange pear slices on top. I sprinkle them with brown sugar. Bake cake with pears at 360°F (180°C), until it is fully baked.
The baked fruit cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar.
