How to make
The pork shoulder is rubbed with salt and ground pepper. Leave it in the fridge for an hour or two.
In a bowl, mix the finely chopped onion, ketchup, tomato puree, mustard, apple cider vinegar, barbecue sauce, cumin and paprika.
Mix, until a homogenous mixture is obtained, then roll the pork in the resulting paste.
Everything is transferred into the slow cooker, after which the appliance is turned on to the first setting for 5 hours.
The roasted pork becomes incredibly tender.
When it is ready, with the help of two forks it is pulled into threads or small pieces.
The pulled pork can be poured and mixed with the sauce in which it was cooked.
