How to make
Slits are made in the piece of meat. A clove of garlic, cut lengthwise, is placed in them. That's how the meat is flavored.
In a bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients - salt, brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, onion powder and cumin.
The dry ingredients are mixed well, then rubbed into the meat.
The pork shoulder is wrapped in cling film and left in the refrigerator for a few hours to absorb the aromas.
The seasoned meat is placed on the bottom of a glass pot, the wine is poured, the lid is put on and it is placed in a non preheated oven.
Roast at 340°F (170°C) for about two hours. The secret to slow roast it. Remove the roasted pork from the oven and leave it for about 15 minutes, then pull it apart with a fork.
The Pulled Pork is served in a hamburger bun, Arabic bun, or simply with a garnish of choice.
