How to make

For this Texas Pulled Pork, pour the vegetable oil into the bottom of a slow cooker.

Place the pork shoulder at the bottom of the slow cooker and pour the barbecue sauce, vinegar and chicken broth.

Add brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, onion (cut into crescents), crushed garlic cloves and thyme.

The meat and other ingredients are mixed well, the cooking pot is covered and turned on for 6 hours or on the second setting for 4 to 6 hours, until the pork is cooked and it is shredded easily with a fork.

When it is ready, it is removed from the pot and with the help of the two forks, it is torn into threads. It is then placed back into the pot and stirred well to mix with the resulting sauce.

The juicy pulled pork is served between bread buns, which are cut in half.
