"The stewed rabbit with vegetables is very tasty - you must try it!"

Ingredients

  • new potatoes - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • rabbit - 3.3 lb (1.5 kg)
  • peppers - 2 pcs.
  • carrots - 2 pcs.
  • butter - 1.1 oz (30 g)
  • paprika
  • black pepper grains
  • bay leaf
  • onion - 1 onion
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • oil
  • lovage - 1 stalk
  • universal spice
  • universal sauce
  • beer - 1 cup (250 ml)

How to make

Wash the whole rabbit, salt it and leave it for about 30 minutes. Transfer it into a deep baking pan and grease it. Sprinkle it all over the surface with paprika and universal sauce.

Peel the new potatoes and put them in the baking pan whole. If there are bigger ones, you can cut them.

Add the chopped onions, garlic, carrots and peppers. Season the vegetables with salt, vegetable seasoning and paprika. Spread the butter over the potatoes.

Pour a glass of beer into the baking pan and cover the vegetables with warm water.

Add a few peppercorns, thyme and bay leaf. Cover it with foil and place the baking pan in a non preheated oven. Turn it on at 360°F (180°C) and bake for about 150 minutes and in the middle of baking you can remove the foil.

Continue stewing the rabbit, until it's fully cooked.
