How to make
On the Saute setting I stewed the pork along with the mushrooms and spices. When they were done, after about 10 minutes I took them out of the dish. I rinsed the appliance bowl under water.
I filled 6 cups (1.5 L) of water (we don't like it becoming super hard when it cools). I seasoned the water with salt and a vegetable broth. I turned on the Saute program (HI) and waited for the water to boil.
After the the water started boiling, I switched to Low and poured the kachamak. I started mixing, until it thickened - about 2 minutes.
The kachamak thickens but remains slightly runny - the effect I was looking for.
I served it, by putting the kachamak on a plate and the pork with the peppers and some of the sauce on top.
