How to make
Heat the oven to 430°F (220°C). Carefully carve out the tomatoes, by setting the core aside.
Place the tomatoes upside down onto paper towels to drain.
Stew the onion and garlic clove in a pan. When they soften, add the sausage cut into circles.
Add the tomato core and fry for another 10 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
Add the stuffing to the middle of each tomato.
On top, add the chopped yellow cheese and finely chopped basil. Bake, until the cheese melts.
Towards the end, sprinkle the stuffed tomatoes with Parmesan cheese and place them back into the oven for a few more minutes.
The stuffed tomatoes with sausage and yellow cheese are ready.
