How to make

Dice the meat, bacon and processed cheese. Put them in a blender, season with salt and black pepper and beat, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

The mixture is distributed onto cling film, covered with another layer of cling film on top and lightly rolled with a rolling pin. Put it in the fridge to harden.

The eggs are beaten. The croquettes are cut out with a cup or other mold and shaped with rounded ends, rolled first in flour, then dipped in the egg mixture and finally in breadcrumbs.

Arrange them in a tray lined with greased baking paper. Drizzle them a thin stream of oil on top.

Bake them in an oven preheated to 390°F (200°C) in the middle of the oven with a fan on for about 20 minutes, or until they acquire a nice golden color.

If you prefer them fried rather than baked, then fry them in a pan or fryer with a sufficient amount of well-heated oil - it should cover them. Once done, leave them to drain them on onto kitchen paper.

For the sauce, garlic is pressed and mixed with yogurt, mayonnaise and dill. Season with salt and a pinch of black pepper and mix.

The croquettes are served with the sauce.

The breaded chicken croquettes are ready.
