Ingredients

  • beef - 0.9 lb (400 g) (from leg)
  • green peppers - 3 pcs.
  • onion - 2 large onions
  • tomatoes - 1 pc.
  • for the marinade
  • white wine - 3 tbsp.
  • black pepper - a pinch
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • salt - by taste
  • sugar - a pinch
  • oil - 4 tbsp.
  • savory herb - 1 fresh sprig (washed and finely chopped)

How to make

Cut the meat into cubes, put it in a bowl and add the ingredients for the marinade. Mix everything well, close with a lid and leave it in the refrigerator for about 40 minutes.

Remove the bowl several times from the refrigerator, stir or shake it and put it back in the refrigerator. After the meat has been marinated, heat the pan/wok and put the meat to stew (without the marinade).

Stew the meat on a low heat for about 15 minutes (until the water evaporates), by stirring often, then add the cleaned and coarsely chopped onions and peppers to the meat. While the meat and vegetables are stewing, peel and finely chop the tomato.

After the meat and vegetables are semi-cooked, add the chopped tomato and 3-4 tbsp. from the marinade. Stir for another 2-3 minutes, or until the dish is ready and serve it.
