How to make
Wash the rice and put it in a pot. With the same cup you measured the rice in, pour 2 cups of water. Turn on the stove and boil on low heat, until the water evaporates.
During this time, set aside a bit from the milk (about 50-100 ml) and dissolve the starch. Put the yolk and mix with a wire whisk.
Pour the remaining amount of milk into the almost cooked rice. Add the sugar and vanilla. Put the milk with the yolk and boil, until the rice is ready. Turn off the heat and distribute it into cups. Put them in a deep baking pan. Pour cold water up to the middle of the cups.
Sprinkle each cup with a little brown sugar on top. Heat the oven to 430°F (220°C) (upper resistor wire) and bake the sütlaç, until it is ready.
