How to make
The cherries are pitted and the rum essence (or 1 tbsp. of rum) is added to them, by leaving them aside to absorb the aroma.
The eggs are beaten along with the sugar and the melted butter and yogurt are added to them.
The flour is sifted along with the baking powder and gradually added to the mixture, by stirring, until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
The dough for our cherry cake is poured into a tray covered with baking paper and the cherries are arranged on it.
Bake the simple cake with cherries in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C), until it's done.
