How to make
Melt the butter in a pot. Add the pitted cherries to it. Sprinkle them with a spoonful of sugar and leave them for 10 minutes. Remove them from the heat as soon as they release the juice.
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients - flour, baking powder, sugar and baking soda. Form a well and pour the yogurt, olive oil and eggs in the middle. Beat the mixture with a mixer, until a dough is obtained.
Put the dough for the fluffy cake with a floured and greased baking pan, put the cherries on top and pour their juice.
Bake the cherry cake at 360°F (180°C) for 60 minutes.
The Polish Cherry Cake is ready!
