How to make
For this wonderful autumn cake, the eggs are beaten along with the sugar, until a white mixture is obtained. The oil and yogurt are added to them.
After mixing into portions, add the pre-sifted flour along with the baking powder.
The mixture is stirred, until a smooth consistency is obtained.
The quinces are peeled, cleaned from the seeds and grated on a coarse grater.
They are added to the cake mixture along with the crushed walnuts.
After mixing all of the products well, transfer them into a greased and floured baking pan.
The quince cake is baked in an oven preheated to 360°F (180°C) for about 40 minutes.
When the healthy quince cake has cooled, sprinkle it with powdered sugar, cut it into squares and it's ready to be served.
