How to make
The quinoa is poured with cold water in a ratio of 1:2, it is brought to a boiling point and then left simmered for about 15-20 minutes. The quinoa grains swell and become transparent in color. Rinse the cooked quinoa with cold water and strain it very well. Set it aside to cool.
In a separate container, mix the spices, the finely chopped onion (if you wish, you can lightly stew it), the grated cheese and an egg. Add the quinoa and mix the products, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
With moistened hands, form the walnut-sized quinoa patties. If the vegetarian patties are falling apart, 1 more egg can be added to the solder mixture.
The shaped quinoa and cheese patties are rolled in flour and fried on both sides in heated fat, until they're done.
