How to make
Put the cottage cheese and cream cheese in a large bowl. Crack the egg into the bowl.
Mix, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. A little salt is added according to how salty the cottage cheese is.
The olives are cleaned and finely chopped. They are added to the mixture and mixed again. The dough is spread out.
Cut it in half lengthwise. Prepare a tray with baking paper and lightly grease it.
The mixture is divided into 2 equal parts. Spread one half with half the mixture. The lengthwise end of the dough is brushed with water to stick and seal the savory biscuits well.
It is rolled up into a puff pastry roll. The roll is cut into about 1 cm thick slices. Arrange them in the tray, by leaving enough space between them, because the puff pastry puffs up when baking.
The middle part of the puff pastry snails is sprinkled with poppy seeds. The same is repeated with the rest of the products.
When all the savory puff pastry snails are ready, bake them, until they're done.
